Other MPs rushed to her aid.
During Question Period, Liberal MP Pam Damoff fainted while MP Omar Alghabra was speaking.
Damoff appeared to take a breath, set down her tablet, and then faint onto her desk.
MPs in the vicinity quickly realized something was wrong, and called for help.
In a rare display of bipartisanship, MPs with medical experience – including Dr. Jane Philpott – rushed to Danoff’s aid.
She later left the House of Commons under her own power and was given some water. Her staff say she is now doing well.
