Doug Ford & Justin Trudeau Attended Same Conference As Man Who Has Tested Positive For COVID-19 Coronavirus

A Sudbury man in his 50s attended the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada conference in Toronto.

A man who has now tested positive for Coronavirus attended a conference that was also attended by Ontario Premier Doug Ford and PM Justin Trudeau.

The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Conference took place in Toronto on March 2nd and March 3rd.

A Sudbury man in his 50s attended the conference, and afterwards felt shortness of breath and was coughing.

He then tested positive for Coronavirus, and is now in self-isolation.

In a statement, a spokeswoman says Ford is in good health:

“He remains vigilant and encourages all Ontarians to do the same by taking the preventive actions recommended by our incredible health officials.”

Trudeau also appears to be in good health, with no concerns expressed at his announcement today.

As reported by Politico, multiple Canadian politicians attended the same event:

“The conference attendance list also included Yukon Premier Sandy Silver, Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Minister Greg Rickford, MP Yvonne Jones of Labrador, Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus, Toronto MP Rob Oliphant, Economic Development Minister Mélanie Joly, Sault Ste. Marie MP Terry Sheehan, House Speaker Anthony Rota and Sudbury Mayor Brian Bigger.”
