The finance minister is the latest to be sacrificed for Trudeau’s political career.
Amid the ongoing WE Charity Scandal that has engulfed the Liberal government, Bill Morneau is resigning.
The scandal especially ensnared him and Justin Trudeau, and since the Liberals never hold Trudeau accountable, that left Morneau to be thrown under the bus.
Despite leaving amid scandal, Morneau says he intends to run for Chair of the OECD.
