64% Lack Confidence In Screening Of Refugees Coming To Canada

And only 6% say they are “very confident.”

With the Liberal government increasing the number of Gazan refugees from 1,000 to 5,000, a new survey shows Canadians lack confidence in the refugee screening process.

According to Leger, 64% say they are “not confident” that “all refugees coming to Canada as a result of the Middle East conflict in Gaza are being thoroughly screened by the Government of Canada.”

Meanwhile, 25% say they are confident that thorough screening is taking place.
