BREAKING: Pascale Cecile Veronique Ferrier Identified As Suspect In Poison Letter Sent To Trump

Identification comes on the same day Canadian authorites executed an operation in Saint-Hubert, Quebec.

US authorities have named Pascale Cecile Veronique Ferrier as the woman arrested trying to cross the Canada-US border armed with a gun.

Ferrier is believed to be the suspect in the sending of a letter to US President Donald Trump that was laced with the poison ricin.

The announcement of Ferrier as the suspect comes on the same day as Canadian authorities executed a search on a condo in the Saint-Hubert near Montreal in connection with the letter.

RCMP officers trained in the handling of explosives and chemicals were on the scene, and surrounding residents were evacuated.

Ferrier is expected to appear in a US court tomorrow, in what will be her first public appearance.
