Instead Of Trudeau’s Empty Words, Canada Must Resume Arms Sales To Israel And List The IRGC As A Terrorist Organization

The Liberal government must do what is right, and reverse their unacceptable anti-Israel foreign policy.

Following Iran’s vicious attack against Israel – which consisted of up to 200 ballistic missiles and drones, Justin Trudeau condemned the attack and said Canada stands with Israel:

“DISINGENUOUS: Justin Trudeau, after he & his caucus supported the NDP motion to disarm Israel & fomented a climate of fear among the Jewish community by encouraging pro Hamas protestors states “unequivocally condemns Iran’s airborne attacks against Israel. We stand with Israel”

Rowan is absolutely right here. Trudeau is being completely disingenuous because his actions and the actions of the government don’t at all match his words.

If Canada really stood with Israel, the government wouldn’t have halted arms sales to Israel – a despicable move especially given that Israel is fighting for its life against regimes and terror groups that are also Canada’s enemies and enemies of the free world.

As Israel fights on our behalf, the Liberals have joined with the increasingly anti-Semitic-adjacent NDP and pushed Hamas-style messaging while distancing Canada from our historic and principled pro-Israel foreign policy stance.

Making this even more disgraceful is the fact that the Liberal government continues their absurd refusal to list the Iran-controlled Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.

Standing with Israel is supposed to actually mean something.

It means taking real actions.

And so, if the government wants to turn Trudeau’s empty words into reality, they must reverse their terrible anti-Israel stance.

They must immediately resume arms sales to Israel, and they must list the IRGC as a terrorist organization. Full stop.
