As noted by U.S. Congressman Don Bacon, this continues Trump’s pattern of treating U.S. allies worse than adversaries:
Fundamentally, this is good news for Canada. The Board of Peace lacks credibility from the outset, given that Trump has invited dictators like Vladimir Putin, and given that leaders of many democracies have rightfully refused the invitation.
