All too often when a gang shooting takes place, Liberal politicians have been blaming the blameless, ensuring the problem will never be solved.
Recently in Toronto, there has been a continued spate of gang violence.
Among the most horrendous instances of that violence was a 12-year-old boy who was shopping with his mother, when he was shot.
The boy is now in critical condition in hospital.
The shooting took place in broad daylight, around 2:30 pm.
Yet, in response to that shooting, Liberal politicians have once again avoided the true cause – gangs – and are instead using rhetoric that will demonize law-abiding gun owners.
Guns kill people. Enough is enough. https://t.co/1UQccgkbOd

Tracey Wilson of the CCFR accurately critiqued the kind of virtue-signalling pushed by McKenna:
“Virtue signalling, do-nothing politician who uses the tragic deaths of innocent victims of gang crime to advance a gun grabbing agenda against legal owners who had nothing to do with the crime. You’re the worst kind.”

And of course, Gerald Butts had to get in on the rhetoric, while also claiming that those criticizing his remarks were ‘bots.’

In a recent video, I discussed the dangerous scapegoating of Canada’s law-abiding gun owners. We must stand against this scapegoating, and start addressing real problems:
