That’s enough for less than 1% of the population, and Health Canada still has not approved the first vaccine expected to arrive. Meanwhile, “all parts of the UK now have a supply of the vaccine” according to the UK government.
Justin Trudeau says “Vaccines are coming.”
In reality, what he announced today was that ‘up to’ 249,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine will arrive in by the end of December.
That’s enough for less than 1% of the population.
By contrast, the US has said they will vaccinate roughly 20 million people by the end of 2020.
In the UK, vaccinations are expected to begin tomorrow, with the Pfizer vaccine already having been approved.
Also, while the Liberals have claimed Canada will be behind countries because we don’t produce vaccines domestically and must import them, the UK has already imported the Pfizer vaccine and will be giving it out in the initial rollout.
All parts of the UK now have a supply of the #COVID19 vaccine.
The vaccine will be available for free and be managed by the health services in each nation.

Notably, the Pfizer vaccine has not yet been approved by Health Canada.
In the coming weeks and months, Canadians will be watching closely. We can expect to see the Liberals make many announcements about vaccines, but what really matters is actual delivery, and Canadians may be far behind citizens of many other countries in terms of getting actual immunity from the China CCP Virus.
