CFO of Huawei faces extradition to the United States.
A formal hearing to continue the extradition of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou can proceed.
The federal government has given the go-ahead for the hearing, ending weeks of speculation as to whether it would be blocked.
Since Canada the United States have an extradition treaty, it is common practice for the allies to approve the extradition request made by the other country.
Meng faces charges in regard to her alleged violation of sanctions against the Iranian regime.
She is currently living in a gigantic mansion in Vancouver awaiting the proceedings.
