“Multiple RCMP resources are being sent to York Landing, MB” say authorities.
The RCMP are searching York Landing, Manitoba, following reports that murder suspects Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky are in the area.
“Multiple RCMP resources are being sent to York Landing, MB, to investigate a tip that the two suspects are possibly in, or near, the community. A heavy police presence can be expected in the area. We will continue to update you as information becomes available.”

The RCMP has asked people not to share photos of the officers in the area, so as not to give away locations:

Earlier, the RCMP had been focused on Gillam, Manitoba, but then stated that someone may have accidentally helped the fugitives escape.
The manhunt is now nearing a week long, as the nation remains on edge.
