Amid CCP Coronavirus Crisis, Media Finally Holds *Checks Notes* Michelle Rempel Accountable

So Rempel can be criticized but Tam, Trudeau and Hajdu are out of bounds. Huh…

The failure of the establishment media has never been more obvious than right now.

Amid the obvious debacle of the Liberal government response, from Tam & Hajdu following the trash advice of the discredited China-controlled WHO, and Trudeau’s refusal to take action like shutting the border and stopping flights from China until it was too late, the establishment press has given them a total free pass.

Even more, the media has propped up the government, covering up for their failures and lies.

Yet, amid all of this, the media has now decided to hold someone accountable:

Michelle Rempel.

You see, it turns out that the MP is currently in Oklahoma with her husband, having travelled there before restrictions were in place.

Just look at this biased Tweet by debate moderator Susan Delacourt:

And of course, the Toronto Star wrote about it:

Rempel’s travels to Oklahoma have been known for a while, both on her website in Twitter.

So why is it a story now?

Simply, the reason is that the establishment press is trying to distract from the failures of the Liberal government, and are going back to their favourite tactic:

Demonizing the Conservatives.

Amazingly, the Conservatives are being ‘held accountable’ despite not being the government, while the actual government gets a free pass.

Michelle Rempel is now being held to a higher standard of accountability than Justin Trudeau, Theresa Tam, and Patty Hajdu, despite those three making decisions that resulted in more Canadians dying than if they had done what many people – myself included – were demanding early on.

We live in an upside down world, and the media is trying their best to keep it that way.

That’s why the rest of us need to keep fighting for the truth and push back against this insane bias.
