POLL: Pierre Poilievre-Led CPC Would Crush Liberals In Election

New Mainstreet Research poll demonstrates widespread appeal of Pierre Poilievre’s message.

A new poll by Mainstreet Research shows that a Pierre Poilievre-led Conservative Party would crush the Liberals in an election.

According to the survey which was conducted between July 15-18, the Conservatives would win 39% of the popular vote if Poilievre was the party leader.

By contrast, the Liberals get just 27.1%.

The NDP is at 18.6%, while the Bloc, PPC, and Greens are at 5.6%, 4.5%, and 2.7% respectively.

The 12 point margin for the CPC over the Liberals would almost certainly mean a Conservative majority government.

This demonstrates the widespread appeal of Poilievre’s message.

As I have often noted, Canadians are increasingly paying the price for Justin Trudeau’s policies.

Literally.

Prices are surging as inflation robs us of our purchasing power, and Canadians can see that Justin Trudeau and the Liberals are deliberately making things worse.

In that context, Canadians aren’t looking for small shift in tone or rhetoric. Instead, they are looking for a clear repudiation of Trudeau’s tax-and-spend inflationary policies.

As the candidate most clearly offering that, Pierre Poilievre is the one who is best poised to capitalize on the growing disenchantment with Trudeau, and offer Canadians a decisive break from the Trudeau era.
