In his first speech to the Conservative Caucus as Conservative Party Leader, Pierre Poilievre stuck to the same themes that won him the leadership race:
Empowering Canadians to be free and financially successful by getting big government out of the way.
Already, Poilievre is demonstrating that he is committed to what he talked about in the leadership campaign, and that he refuses to give in to the Liberal/establishment media narrative.
The establishment wants scared, weak, and apologetic Conservatives who humbly lose to the Liberals. Poilievre is demonstrating that he will be the exact opposite of that.
More than past CPC leaders, Poilievre is willing to directly confront both the Liberal government and the government-controlled state media, and that is what millions of Canadians have been waiting for.
