GUTLESS: Trudeau Urges Israeli ‘Restraint’ Around Al-Shifa Hospital, Fails To Mention US Intel Indicating It Houses Hamas Weapons & ‘Command Node’

Does the virtual-signalling clown of a PM realize that Canadians would be far better off if he said nothing rather than pandering with his pathetic ‘both-sidesing’?

Every time it looks like Justin Trudeau is about to show some political principle and courage, he again reveals himself to be a gutless virtue-signaller.

At a time when many news organizations and radical left politicians have been spouting off barely-concealed Hamas talking points and thus emboldening vile anti-Semites within our country, Justin Trudeau continues to perpetuate a false narrative that seeks to draw an equivalence between Israel – a democratic state – and Hamas – a genocidal terrorist organization.

Just look at his latest comments regarding the Al-Shifa hospital. Trudeau spends a full minute in his most dramatic voice calling for ‘restraint’ all without mentioning the fact that the hospital is being used as a Hamas command node and is being used to store weapons:

“All innocent life is equal in worth, Israeli and Palestinian. I urge the government of Israel to exercise maximum restraint,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says as he comments on the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.”

Trudeau made no mention of the fact that U.S. intel is backing up Israel’s statements about Hamas using the Al-Shifa hospital as a “Command Node” and is storing weapons there:

“The White House said Tuesday that Hamas is storing weapons and operating a command node from the al-Shifa hospital in Gaza, revealing publicly what US intelligence has shown is underneath the medical facility.

“Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad use some hospitals in the Gaza Strip, including al-Shifa, and tunnels underneath them, to conceal and to support their military operations and to hold hostages,” John Kirby, a National Security Council spokesman, told reporters traveling with President Joe Biden.

He added, “Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, PIJ, members operate a command-and-control node from al-Shifa in Gaza City. They have stored weapons there and they are prepared to respond to an Israeli military operation against that facility.””

Again, the real surprise would be if Hamas wasn’t using the hospital to store weapons and to launch terror operations. Hamas is a completely psychopathic genocidal terrorist group. They lie endlessly. They deliberate place civilians in harms way in order to use civilian deaths to try and whip up hate against Israel and so the world will foolishly pressure Israel to not finally defeat Hamas.

For Trudeau to ignore this is absolutely gutless.

It shows he is still pandering to radical anti-Israel extremists, and by doing so he risks further emboldening anti-Semites in this country.

By contrast, leaders like Pierre Poilievre have been far more clear in explaining that Hamas must be defeated and in refusing to fall for – or spread – Hamas’ narratives.

Another voice of courage and reason is Conservative MP Shuv Majumdar, who has been steadfast in support of the Jewish community in Canada:

“1/2 Montreal last week: A firebombed synagogue. Hate preacher calling for the extermination of Jews. Students called the K-word. Terrorists fired bullets at two schools.”

“2/2 Students, teachers and leaders of the Montreal Jewish community are on the frontlines of violent antisemitic terrorism. They are courageous and resolute, and they will prevail.

I may not be their MP, but I will be their voice, among a chorus of voices that stands with them.”

Watching the actions of Poilievre and Majumdar – and really the entire CPC Caucus has been very strong in terms of standing up for Israel and standing up for the Jewish community – the contrast with Justin Trudeau could not be more stark.

Rather than looking to speak the truth and show leadership, Trudeau is clearly looking for every possible opportunity to ‘both-sides’ things, trying to draw a false equivalence between Israel and between Hamas terrorists.

The Prime Minister continues to show himself to be a failure and a disgrace.
