Why is the world even indulging this garbage?
It may sound odd, but one of the biggest problems with the mindset of the Western world is that we aren’t arrogant enough.
Western Civilization emphasized individual freedom, limits on state power, scientific inquiry, freedom of religion, and freedom of trade & commerce. Those values and principles helped build the most powerful, successful, and free societies the world has ever known. Western countries are still the countries everyone is trying to get to.
And yet, it’s the world’s failing countries, the failed authoritarian regimes and the failed primitive and backwards states that seem to have all the confidence.
Those countries lecture the West despite being nowhere near the level of the West, while Western nations meekly go along with it out of some unearned sense of guilt.
For example, the world is now indulging the absolute travesty of South Africa – a failing and dysfunctional country – falsely claiming that Israel is committing genocide.
Meanwhile, South Africa regularly indulges in genocidal rhetoric, sides with genocidal authoritarian states, and is so dysfunctional that it can’t even keep the lights on.
As you can see in the video below, Julius Malema – a major party leader in South Africa – chants “kill the Boer,” in reference to the White minority in the country:

Lest you think this is some sort of isolated incident, Malema has repeatedly said he won’t stop saying the genocidal chant. And, he has even been described by the Jacob Zuma – President of South Africa from 2009-2018 – as a future leader of the country.
Thus, South Africa is a country where genocidal rhetoric is normalized.
South Africa also continues to double-down and triple-down on anti-Semitism with the captain of their cricket team – who is Jewish – being removed from his position:
Yesterday, we learned that the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) was barring #Israel's team from competing in the World Championships.
Today we learn that #SouthAfrica removed the Jewish captain of its U-19 World Cup Cricket team from his position.

Unable to keep the lights on
South Africa is so corrupt and so poorly managed that the nation is crippled by power outages.
South Africa’s failing regime is now trying to distract from the decline of their country by spreading anti-Semitism – often the last refuse of the dumbest and most incompetent leaders.
Arrogance
And this is why the West needs more confidence – even bordering on arrogance.
We have nothing to learn from South Africa, unless we’re looking at how not to manage a country.
Israel has nothing to learn from South Africa. In fact, South Africa should be learning from Israel how to succeed as a nation, given that Israel has managed to build an advanced first world nation despite having almost no natural resources and being surrounded by enemies, while South Africa manages to run their country into the ground despite significant natural resources.
And the West has nothing to learn from trash rhetoric of regimes like South Africa, China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
Instead, we need to remember that the ideals and principles of the Western world have built the most successful nations – by far – and that we shouldn’t waste our time listening to failed leaders and failed nations who don’t share our values and who try to undermine us at every turn.
At this point, all we should be saying to South Africa is that it’s time for that country to shut the fu*k up.
