Trudeau has continued to move Canada away from our democratic foundations and towards the kind of authoritarian state he admires in China. This is just more evidence of that.
Justin Trudeau has long admired the Chinese Communist Dictatorship, even praising China’s ability to “get things done” because of their dictatorship before he became Prime Minister.
We have seen Trudeau steadily act on those beliefs in office, as he has expanded the power of the state, sought to buy-off the media, and attacked freedom of speech.
In doing so, Trudeau is not only making things worse for Canadians, but he is undermining the foundation upon which Canada is based. Our history of being a bastion of Western Civilization, based upon limits on state power, individual freedom, and free expression is being undermined, with Trudeau seeking to turn Canada more into a country that resembles Communist China, Russia, and Iran rather than our Western Allies.
His invocation of the Emergencies Act was the clearest example of this, as he abused the power of the state and even froze the bank accounts of Freedom Convoy protestors. It was also a nakedly political move, as can be seen by Trudeau’s refusal to use that same kind of power in a circumstance in which it would actually be justified – cracking down on anti-Canada, anti-Western, anti-Semitic, pro-terrorist ‘protestors’.
Federal Court of Canada Emergencies Act Ruling
And now, the Federal Court of Canada has confirmed that Trudeau overstepped his power and violated parts of the Charter by invoking the Emergencies Act:
“BREAKING: Federal Court of Canada declares that the federal government’s invocation of the Emergencies Act was ultra vires (i.e. illegal) and that some of the Emergencies Act orders unjustifiably violated the Charter of Rights.

While there will be no direct consequences for the government in the short-term, this ruling makes it abundantly clear that our country is ‘led’ by someone with authoritarian instincts and who stays in power due to a cult of personality that has purged the government of those who would question him. Only the most deranged Trudeau supporters could fail to see how dangerous this is for our country.
