Jagmeet Singh Is Once Again Promoting Hamas Propaganda & Fueling Anti-Semitism

The ‘Gaza Health Ministry’ is Hamas. Jagmeet Singh knows this. He just doesn’t care.

Time and time again, we’ve seen the politicians who claim to be the most concerned about ‘misinformation’ turn out to be the most prolific spreaders of it.

Jagmeet Singh certainly fits into that category.

Singh and the NDP have often voted in favour of Liberal government initiatives to supposedly stem the tide of misinformation and disinformation online.

And yet, Jagmeet Singh repeatedly spreads misinformation and repeats lies from some of the most vile terror groups.

Shortly after Hamas’ horrific October 7th massacre of Israelis, Singh repeated a false claim that Israel had ‘bombed a hospital’ and caused 500 casualities.

Singh immediately believed the claim from ‘Gaza health officials’ (AKA Hamas), and then simply refused to comment or take down his Tweet falsely blaming Israel even after the Hamas story completely fell apart.

It took just hours for the truth to become apparent, as daylight revealed that the supposedly bombed hospital was still standing, only the parking lot had been hit, and 500 people had not been killed/wounded. It also turned out that it was a Palestinian Islamic Jihad rocket that hit the parking lot, not an Israeli airstrike.

Singh just pretended none of that was true.

His repetition of Hamas’ false is still up on Twitter to this day.

And now, he’s doing it again.

Following the deaths of Gazans after chaos around aid vehicles, Jagmeet Singh immediately accused Israel of supposedly commiting a ‘massacre’:

“New Democrats are horrified by and condemn the massacre by Israeli troops of over 100 Palestinians seeking life-saving aid.

Canada must take action to save lives.

Tomorrow, Parliament will debate actions proposed by the NDP.

We urge the other parties to support our motion.”

Singh is accusing Israel of massacring over 100 people.

But here’s what the BBC – a news organization that has often been incredibly biased against Israel – is saying:

“At least 112 Palestinians are said to have been killed and 760 injured trying to get desperately needed aid in Gaza.

Crowds descended on a convoy of lorries on the coastal road south-west of Gaza City, in the presence of Israeli tanks.

Israel’s military say tanks fired warning shots but did not strike the convoy. Some Palestinians say troops fired directly at them.

A Palestinian witness told the BBC most of those who died had been run over as lorry drivers tried to move forward.

Israeli aerial footage shows hundreds of people on and around lorries, while graphic videos posted online show bodies loaded on to emptied aid lorries and a donkey cart.

Giving the figures of 112 dead and 760 injured, Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry accused Israel of a “massacre”.”

Read that again:

“A Palestinian witness told the BBC most of those who died had been run over as lorry drivers tried to move forward.”

That is tragic.

That is sad.

Yet, it is not a ‘massacre by Israel.’

Now, make careful note of how Singh is deliberately using Hamas exact rhetoric.

When even the BBC refuses to take the opportunity to demonize Israel and actually reports what happened on the ground, and when Jagmeet Singh instead decides to ignore the facts and repeat Hamas’ lines word for word, he is making a very deliberate, and very disgusting choice.

Singh knows the ‘Gaza Health Ministry’ is Hamas.

He knows repeating these false claims against Israel will fuel anti-Semitism.

He knows he’s pandering to hateful anti-Semites who don’t care about the truth.

He just doesn’t care.

He’s willing to spread Hamas’ misinformation to win votes.

And in doing so, he not only shows why he should never be considered credible on the issue of misinformation and disinformation, he’s showing why he should never be Prime Minister.
