The aid is almost certain to pass in the US Senate next week.
After months of political infighting – much of it spurred on by anti-Western propaganda spread by the Russian and Iranian regimes – the United States House of Representatives has decisively passed a series of aid packages to America’s democratic allies across the world.
In separate votes, aid to Ukraine, aid to Israel, and aid to Taiwan passed by massive margins.
Another piece of legislation – to use seized Russian assets to help Ukraine and to potentially ban China-Communist-controlled TikTok – also passed.

This is good news.
At a time when China, Russia, and Iran are working together to threaten the free world, all free nations must stand together and stand up for free nations like Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.
With the United States House of Representatives taking this important step, Canada must do more to step up as well.
We must ramp up our military spending to meet and exceed our NATO commitments, and finally follow through on our aid packages to Ukraine – many of which were big promises by the Liberals yet have not been fully delivered.
These are dangerous times in the world, and only strength and resolve from the free world can help ensure that democracy and liberty survive.
