There was a concerning moment during the White House press briefing, when the Secret Service escorted US President Donald Trump from a news briefing after a shooting took place outside the White House.
The Secret Service confirmed that a shooting took place:
“The Secret Service can confirm there has been an officer involved shooting at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Ave. Law enforcement officials are on the scene. More information to follow.”

Reports indicate the suspect was shot, and no officers were injured. The suspect has been taken to the hospital.

Trump addressed the shooting when he returned:
