Needing a bunch of people to die isn’t the best way to chase Parliamentary relevance.
In one of the more odd statements in response to the Throne Speech, Green Party Parliamentary Leader Elizabeth May was asked about the fact that the Greens aren’t really relevant to whether the government survives or not, and mused about a bunch of MPs dying:
“If a whole bunch of MPs on their way to parliament fell down and something heavy landed on them at that point we could be absolutely critical to the survival this of this government.”

After so many years in charge of the Greens, Elizabeth May’s best hope for them to have any relevance is for a bunch of MPs to die.
That’s quite an admission of failure.
