The Sudbury-born Trebek hosted Jeopardy! for 36 years.
Alex Trebek, the beloved Canadian icon who hosted Jeopardy! for 36 years, has passed away.
He was 80 years-old.
Trebek had been fighting pancreatic cancer for sometime.
The Jeopardy! Twitter account shared the sad news:
