China Barring Canadian Officials From Trials Of Two Michaels

Global Affairs Canada says Canadian officials have been told the trial will be closed from both the public and the media.

In a move that is unfortunately not surprising, China is barring Canadian officials from the trials of Michael Kovrig & Michael Spavor.

According to Global Affairs Canada, “The official notification received from Chinese authorities indicated that these trials are closed to both the public and the media. Despite several official requests to Chinese authorities, Canadian officials have not yet received permission to attend the trials.”

Conviction rates in Communist China are nearly 100%, with the justice system functioning merely as an extension of the Chinese Communist Party, lacking all independence whatsoever.

There is widespread concern in Canada over the fates of the two Michaels, who have been arbitrarily detained for over two years by the ruthless Communist State.

If you are someone who believes in prayer, consider praying for Michael Kovrig & Michael Spavor.
