The Liberals once again put global virtue-signalling ahead of the well-being of Canadian Citizens.
Food bank usage in Canada is surging.
Food prices are through the roof.
More and more Canadians are going hungry.
The economic situation in our nation worsens by the day.
The life expectancy and health statistics of many Indigenous reserves are equivalent to the poorest third-world countries.
And what is the Liberal government doing about it?
Giving more of our hard-earned tax dollars to foreign countries, prioritizing non-Canadians ahead of Canadians.
The government says they’ve raised foreign aid by 27%, and Harjit Saajan said this part of the government “making adjustments to reflect” higher food prices around the world.
“People are going hungry because the prices of food have gone up” said Sajjan.
The foreign aid budget now stands at roughly $6.6 billion, which means the Liberals have boosted foreign aid by about $1.8 billion in just the past year.
That’s money they took from you and your family through taxes.
That’s money that could have been left in the pockets of Canadians – at a time when people need all the money they can spare – yet it instead went to foreign countries.
A tragic irony of all of this is that the Liberals are adding even more to the deficit by doing this, and that deficit is financed by more and more printed money from the Bank of Canada, which drives up inflation.
So, the Liberals push inflation even higher which makes Canadians poorer, while taking even more of our money to give away outside of Canada.
Redistribution of wealth
Given the Neo-Communist ideology of the Liberals, it’s no surprise that they prioritize non-Citizens ahead of Canadians.
In the Liberal worldview, Canada is an evil colonialist state, and is full of ‘privileged’ people.
They view the entrepreneurial creation of wealth as ‘exploitation,’ and thus feel fully justified – even righteous – in taking money away from Canadians and giving it away elsewhere.
This also further demonstrates the total disregard the Liberals have for any real improvements in the living standards of Indigenous Canadians.
Time and time again, the Liberals offer Indigenous Canadians nothing but virtue-signalling platitudes, while showing that their real concern is for taking tax dollars and giving them to people who don’t reside within our borders.
After all, why fix problems with clean drinking water when you can just do a land acknowledgment at the beginning of your speech?
At a time when Canadians have less and less wealth to spare, the Liberals seem hell-bent on taking more and more of it away from Canadians and redistributing elsewhere.
It’s the exact opposite of what the government should be doing, but when have we ever known the Trudeau Liberals to do the right thing?
