The backlash against the Liberal move against the property of law-abiding Canadian hunters continues to grow.
In the House of Commons, you can lie with abandon and avoid answering questions as much as you want, but you can’t call someone else a ‘liar.’
In an absurd way it’s fitting, since governments tend to be far more afraid of being accused of lying than they are of actually lying to the public.
The Liberals have been doing a lot of that lately, telling Canadians they aren’t banning hunting rifles with Bill C-21 amendments, even as they are doing exactly that.
So today, when Conservative MP & Public Safety Critic Raquel Dancho accused called out the Liberals’ lies, she was removed from the House of Commons.
Dancho doesn’t back down
But Dancho isn’t backing down.
Following her expulsion, she continued to call out the Liberals.
Her full remarks are worth watching:

The fact is, the Liberals are lying.
They claim they aren’t going after the property of hunters and farmers, but that is exactly what they are doing.
As you can see at this link, the list of firearms being banned by the Liberals is truly staggering, and includes many that are used by hunters and farmers across the country.
Ironically, the Liberals themselves have tacitly admitted this, because Justin Trudeau and other Liberal cabinet ministers have claimed they are ‘tweaking’ the bill to ‘address concerns.’
If they weren’t going after property owned by hunters and farmers, then there would be nothing to tweak. Since they are making changes, it makes it clear that the legislation does indeed criminalize the property and tools of many law-abiding hunters and farmers in the country.
So, when Raquel Dancho accuses the Liberals of lying, she is correct.
That makes Dancho’s expulsion from the House of Commons even more absurd and disturbing:
It seems the only thing politicians get punished for today is telling the truth.
