PATHETIC HYPOCRISY: Steven Guilbeault – Who Was Fine With Trespassing At Ralph Klein’s Home For A Political Stunt & Who Has Targeted Alberta’s Energy Sector For Destruction – Is Now Whining About Being Criticized

Guilbeault would be hilarious, if he wasn’t doing so much damage.

Steven Guilbeault – a self-professed ‘proud socialist’ who is imposing economically destructive policies on our nation – is also a rank hypocrite.

Guilbeault has made his career on crazy political stunts, including climbing the CN Tower. He’s also been part of targeting politicians at their homes, a total invasion of privacy that shows he has zero respect for basic political or societal norms.

This is what was written about Guilbeault when he was first appointed Environment Minister by Justin Trudeau:

“Steven Guilbeault has pulled off his greatest anti-oil stunt. The former Greenpeace activist is now Canada’s minister of environment and climate change.

On April 11, 2002, Greenpeace pranksters climbed onto the roof of then-premier Ralph Klein’s bungalow in Lakeview.

From inside, Klein’s wife, Colleen, saw vans arrive and people in orange uniforms take a ladder to the house.

“I was terrified,” she told an interviewer years later. She thought it was some kind of home invasion.

Greenpeace campaigner Guilbeault said: “We’re offering Mr. and Mrs. Klein a gift of solar panels, a gift of the future. That’s what the energy of the future should be about. It will be about solar and wind energy.”

Ralph Klein emitted some furious wind power of his own. “Colleen was shook up,” he said. “It was an invasion of privacy . . . Nobody’s home ought to be public property.””

Stephen Guilbeault was glad to be part of specifically targeting the private home of a politician.

Not holding a rally.

Not going to the Legislature to protest.

Violating private property.

Further, Guilbeault is quite specifically targeting the Alberta energy sector for destruction. Like all Communists, Guilbeault despises the life-affirming dynamism and entrepenurial attitude of ambitious pro-Capitalist places like Alberta, and wants to destroy it.

And so, Steven Guilbeault is a radical extremist who targets people on the basis of their political views, has no problem taking intimidating action that violates private property, and seeks to use the power of the federal government to punish Albertans.

Yet, despite showing such an authoritarian attitude and disrespect for the rule of law and Canada’s political norms, Guilbeault is now whining about being criticized at a political event:

Now, I’m no fan of Tucker Carlson due to his anti-Ukraine, pro-Russia views, and his overall foreign policy worldview that is almost indistinguishable from far-left university activists who blame America and the West for everything while giving dictatorships a free pass.

With that said, it is the height of hypocrisy for Guilbeault to be whining about being criticized at that event, given his own record of extremism and intimidating political stunts.

Guilbeault doesn’t seem to understand that in a democratic country, it’s not “political violence” to criticize a politician, it’s our right to do so.

But like all authoritarians, Guilbeault thinks that he should be able to do whatever he wants while denying others the same. He thinks he should be allowed to intimidate others. He thinks he should be allowed to target Albertans with the full force of state power. He thinks he should be able to impose his radical eco-Communist vision on the nation. Yet, he thinks nobody should be able to push back.

Guilbeault once again shows his pathetic hypocrisy and his complete unfitness for holding any position of influence in this country. The day we are rid of him politically will be a great day for all Canadians who love this country.
