WATCH: MP Garnett Genuis On “Ukraine And The Information War”

A strong defence of a principled Conservative foreign policy.

As I have previously noted, Conservative MP Garnett Genuis has been a strong voice in Canada in support of a principled Conservative foreign policy.

At a time when the ‘horseshoe theory’ is becoming more and more of a problem (with the far-left and far-right converging on an anti-Western foreign policy agenda that benefits our enemies), Genuis has continued to explain why it is important for Canada to stand with countries like Israel & Ukraine.

This is quite important, because politicians like Justin Trudeau have being trying to turn foreign policy into a tool of partisan division, which negatively polarizes Canadians and makes it far more difficult to pursue the kind of principled foreign policy we had in the Harper years – when Canada was strongly supportive of both Ukraine & Israel.

Because of negative polarization, many people reflexively take the opposite side of whatever a politician they dislike may be saying. Unfortunately – as noted by Genuis – believing whatever the media says and opposing whatever the media says are both sheeplike behaviours.

We must have the discernment to take each issue on the merits, rather than letting our views be shaped by reflexive opposition to one politician or another. That is a must in order to achieve truly free and independent thinking.

With all of this in mind, I encourage you to watch and share MP Genuis’ latest speech on Ukraine. It is a strong defence of Canadian Values, Conservatism, and also pushes back against the propaganda narratives being pushed on the West by the Russian dictatorship. It is well worth watching and considering:
