Having wrecked the economy, the Liberals are attempting to scapegoat wealthy Canadians, while presenting a budget that further deepens our debt burden and pushes away investment.
As socialist governments tend to do, the Liberals are running out of other people’s money.
And so, they’re taking even more of it to pay for more of the same kind of reckless spending that has stolen so much of your purchasing power.
Of course, the government is trying to hide this by saying they are targeting ‘the rich.’ But just as the carbon tax was sold as targeting big polluters yet ended up targeting you, so will measures aimed at ‘rich Canadians.’
You will pay more.
Your money will be worth less.
Your standard of living will decline even more.
What the socialist Liberals & NDP fail to understand is that instead of targeting the rich – who can easily move to lower tax jurisdictions and take their money with them – we should instead want everyone to have a better opportunity to become rich.

Canada is a land of abundant natural resources and creative hard-working people, and there is no reason we should be thinking small or allowing petty jealously to guide destructive economic policies.
