A stark contrast to the endless empty words from Trudeau.
Speaking at the Yom HaShoah commemoration in Ottawa, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre called for the government to take real action to stand against anti-Semitism and stand against terrorism:
“Hon. Leader of the Official Opposition, @PierrePoilievre at today’s #YomHashoah commemoration in Ottawa
“Here in Canada, we must do more than speak the right words. Never again requires action. Real action.
It is appalling that four years after the antisemitic and genocidal terrorist group, the IRGC, killed 55 Canadians in the PS752 attack, and seven months after that same terrorist group helped coordinate Hamas’ attack on Israel, the IRGC still operates legally in Canada with 700 agents on the ground.
We must immediately criminalize and list the IRGC as terrorists today.”

Poilievre makes a very important point here, noting that there are real actions the government can take – immediately – to show that Canada takes the fight against anti-Semitism seriously.
By contrast, the ongoing refusal of the Liberals to take such actions renders Trudeau’s words meaningless.
Trudeau has allowed anti-Semitism to fester and spread on his watch, while Jagmeet Singh has actively sought to pander to anti-Semites and incorporate anti-Jewish hate into the core of the NDP base.
Only Pierre Poilievre has consistently stood up against anti-Semitism and in support of the Jewish community.
