Trudeau Government Announces $485 MILLION More In Your Taxpayer Dollars Will Be Given Away In New Foreign Aid Program

The money is going to a WHO-led program.

Following many announcements in the past months of more foreign aid spending, the Trudeau Liberals are boosting the foreign aid budget yet again, taking even more of your taxpayer dollars and sending them overseas.

This time, they’ve announced $485 million will go towards the “ACT Accelerator,” a program created by the World Health Organization, the European Commission, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the French Government.

It is supposedly about giving poorer countries access to ‘COVID-19 Tools,’ including support for development of vaccines.

That is strange of course, since vaccines have already been developed, and it’s now an issue of distribution, not development.

According to the Canadian Press, “Canada has now committed more than $865 million to the ACT-Accelerator and has also pledged $220 million to its partner initiative, the COVAX Facility, to help buy vaccine doses for low- and middle-income countries.”

That’s over $1 billion taken from Canadian taxpayers, at a time when many of our small businesses have collapsed, Canadians are struggling in massive numbers, and people within our own country need help.

As we have seen time and time again, the Trudeau government always has money for foreign countries even as so many Canadian Citizens are being left behind.
